In September 2015, Steven directed a production of his play Glockenspiel in Chicago at Columbia College.
Glockenspiel is Steven’s 2012 play set in America amongst families coming to terms with the loss of their soldier sons, daughters and fathers. It explores the war on the home front, the alliances formed by those left behind and the sense of betrayal and rage that undermines trust, support and hope.
Produced by Brian Shaw and featuring a cast drawn from Columbia’s Theatre Department the show played to sold-out audiences.
